We started CrewDeck because we lived the frustration of running a roofing business with disconnected tools, scattered spreadsheets, and lost leads. There had to be a better way.

How It Started

In 2024, our CEO Andrew Watson was running a growing roofing company in Oklahoma City. Business was good, but managing it was a nightmare. He had one tool for leads, another for scheduling, spreadsheets for commissions, and a filing cabinet full of insurance paperwork. His sales reps were using sticky notes. His office manager was drowning in data entry.

Andrew tried every roofing CRM on the market. Some were too simple -- little more than a glorified contact list. Others were enterprise tools designed for general contractors, not storm restoration companies. None of them understood the unique workflow of a roofing operation: the door knocking, the storm chasing, the insurance dance, the crew coordination across dozens of active jobs.

So Andrew assembled a small team of engineers and designers, and they set out to build the platform they wished existed. They interviewed roofing contractors across the country. They rode along on sales calls. They sat in on production meetings. They mapped every step of the roofing business workflow, from the first door knock to the final invoice.

The result is CrewDeck -- a platform that does not try to be everything for everyone. It is purpose-built for roofing companies, and it shows in every feature, every workflow, and every report.
